Project Description:
CARVER- KINGSTON- PLYMPTON- RELOCATION OF A SECTION OF ROUTE 44 INCLUDING 6 BRIDGES (SECTION I)
Section I is the third and final construction phase for this three-segment project. It is the continuation of the Route 44 Relocation from the Section II limits, and proceeds westerly through Kingston, Plympton, and Carver, extending 0.6 miles west of the Route 58 & Route 44 Intersection and terminating in Middleboro. This section includes two interchanges at Route 58 and Spring Street and an emergency westbound exit ramp at Route 80. A new five-span 300 feet bridge over the Winnetuxet River will be included.
