HINGHAM- NORWELL- INTERSECTION OF ROUTE 53 (WHITING STREET) & ROUTE 228 (WASHINGTON STREET) (QUEEN ANNE'S CORNER)

The proposed project includes widening approximately 2800 feet of Washington Street (Route 53) from north of the Pond Street/Main Street intersection (Queen Anne's Corner) in Hingham southerly through Norwell to south of the Grove Street/High Street intersection. The project also incluces upgrading of signals at the above two intersections, as well as the addition of a two-way center turning lane along the Route 53 corridor.
