SOMERVILLE- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, BR# S-17-009 SYCAMORE STREET OVER THE MBTA RAILROAD
This project replaces the existing bridge over the MBTA Railroad. The new structure will be located on the same horizontal alignment. The proposed work includes the construction of a new bridge and reconstruction of approximately 360 feet of Sycamore Street, utility adjustment, new drainage system and utility pole relocation. The work shall consist of clearing, grubbing, excavating, grading, pavement construction, bridge demolition, bridge construction, dust control, erosion control, and storm drainage improvements. The work shall include maintenance of signing of bridge closure and detour during construction.
