Project Description:
SOMERVILLE- BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS, BR# S-17-011, LOWELL STREET OVER THE MBTA & B&M R.R. & S-17-015 LOWELL OVER THE MBTA AND B&MRR
The work consists of the demolition and the replacement of 2 bridges on Lowell Street over the MBTA and the B&M Rail Road. Existing abutments will be modified to accommodate the new bridges. A parapet wall and protective screen will be constructed on both sides of the bridges and the full length of the road between the two bridges.
