PLYMOUTH- RECONSTRUCTION OF ROUTE 44 (SAMOSET STREET) FROM ROUTE 3 (NB RAMP) EASTERLY TO WATER STREET

The project entails the reconstruction of Samoset Street (Route 44) from the northbound Route 3 interchange to Court Street (Route 3A) as well as North and South Park Streets from Route 3A to Water Street. The reconstruction will provide fully ADA compliant sidewalks and wheelchairs ramps, bike friendly shoulders and improvements to the existing vertical profile and drainage system. The current design will largely be completed within the 41 foot right of way and consists of 11 foot travel lanes, 4 foot shoulders and 5.5 foot sidewalks along both sides of the road.
