NORTH READING- ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION AND RELATED WORK ON ROUTE 62 FROM 1,350 FT. EAST OF ROUTE 28 TO MIDDLETON T.L.

The proposed project is a rehabilitation of Route 62 (a.k.a. Winter Street, Park Street, Washington Street and Elm Street) in the Town of North Reading thru the historic downtown section of North Reading, a total distance of approximately 4.5 miles. A new Parker Street bridge over the Ipswich Rover will be included. Within the historic downtown section, a sidewalk is proposed on both sides. In addition, the project also includes drainage improvements, new traffic and pedestrian signals, pavement markings and associated signing, and wheelchair ramps.
