WRENTHAM- SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS, RT.1A (SOUTH STREET) @ RT.121 (WEST STREET) (WAMPUM CORNER)

The proposed improvements call for widenings along approximately 100 meters of all three legs of the intersection to provide three lane cross-sections on the eastbound and northbound approaches and four-lane cross-section on the southbound approach. Road work also included are curbing, a section of sidewalk on the north side of Route 1A of the north leg and carry through to the west leg of the intersection (Route 121). A new mast arm mounted traffic control signal system will also be installed to provide safety and move traffic.
