Project Description:
WELLESLEY- RECONSTRUCTION OF ROUTE 16 (WASHINGTON STREET) FROM GRANTLAND ROAD TO THE NEWTON T.L. (1 MILE)
The work consists of paving, drainage improvements, sidewalk reconstruction, traffic signals and ornamental lighting on Route 16 (Washington Street). The project limits are from Route 9 to River Street, for a distance of 1.1 miles. A signal will be installed at the Washington Street/Walnut Street intersection, and the pedestrian crossing 150 feet south of Hillside Road will be upgraded.
