Project Description:
CHESTER- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, C-11-023, SMITH ROAD OVER THE MAIN BRANCH OF THE WESTFIELD RIVER
The proposed project consists of replacing the existing historic bridge. The new bridge will be prestressed concrete box beams supported on new abutments on a new alignment, 35-feet north of the existing bridge. The proposed bridge will be approximately 85-feet long, 20-feet wide. The existing bridge will remain open during construction.
