FOXBOROUGH- FRANKLIN- MANSFIELD- PLAINVILLE- WRENTHAM- RESURFACING AND RELATED WORK TO A SECTION OF ROUTE I-495

The proposed project consists of resurfacing Route I-495 NB in the Towns of Franklin, Wrentham, Plainville, Foxborough, and Mansfield. The total length of the project is approximately 9.5 miles. Included in the project are the ramps along the Northbound section of Route I-495 at King Street/Franklin, Route 1A/Wrentham, Route 1 in Foxborough and Plainville, and Route I-95 in Foxborough/Mansfield (excluding the ramps from Route I-95 NB to Route I-495 SB, and from Route I-495 NB to Route I-95 NB). Widening will be performed at: Ramp "H" and the acceleration lane on I-495 at the Route 1 interchange in Wrentham and Plainville; Route 1 southbound on the approach to Ramp "H"; and, Route 1 NB at the approach to the intersection with Madison St. in Plainville. The portion of Summer Street in Franklin which is within the State Highway Layout beneath Route I-495 will be also reconstructed.
