AGAWAM- WEST SPRINGFIELD- RESURFACING, ROUTE 5 FROM SOUTH END BRIDGE TO EAST ELM STREET
The project begins in Agawam at the West End of the South End Bridge and proceeds northerly through the West Springfield Town Line to 330 feet north of the intersection of East Elm Street and Riverdale Road for a total length of 3.6 miles. Some highlights of the proposed work include sidewalk and wheelchair ramp construction, adjusting and rebuilding of existing drainage structures, placement of new granite curbing, adjustment of existing granite curbing, placement of bituminous concrete curbing, signs, pavement markings, and erosion control.
