CHICOPEE- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, BR# C-13-011 ROUTE 141 (MONTGOMERY STREET) OVER CHICOPEE RIVER (DEADY MEMORIAL BRIDGE) PHASE II

The bridge work includes the demolition of the existing bridge superstructure and substructure, partial repairs of the existing bridge superstructure, as well as the construction of the new bridge in stages. The highway work includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, borrow, grading, surface drainage, granite curbing, highway guard rail, temporary barriers, safety controls, signing, cold planning, sidewalks, wheelchair ramps, traffic signals, loop detectors, pull boxes related appurtenances, traffic signs and pavement markings.
