LYNN- SIGNALIZATION & IMPROVEMENTS AT 4 LOCATIONS (CONTRACT D)

This project will enhance safety at the following four intersections: 1) At Maple St. and Chestnut St. replace existing traffic signals and pedestrian signals and reconstruct roadway, sidewalks and wheelchair ramps. Angle parking (12 spaces) along Maple St. will be replaced with parallel parking (7 spaces). 2) At Maple St. and Cross. St. the existing pedestrian signals will be replaced with all new equipment. 3) At Maple St. and Euclid Ave., the flashing beacons will be replaced with full stop-and-go traffic and pedestrian signals and reconstructed roadway, sidewalks and wheelchair ramps. 4) At Eastern Ave., Alden St. and Oakwood Ave. the flashing beacons will be replaced with full stop-and-go traffic and pedestrian signals and reconstructed roadway, sidewalks and wheelchair ramps.
