Project Description:
WARWICK- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, W-08-004, ROUTE 78 (ORANGE ROAD) OVER ORCUTT BROOK
The work for this project consists of replacing the Route 78 (Orange Road) Bridge over the Orcutt Brook with a single span concrete arch bridge along with new bridge rail. The substructure is anticipated to be a new reinforced concrete abutment placed on rock. The profile of the bridge will remain essentially the same. The curb to curb width of the bridge will be 26 feet. A single lane temporary bridge and temporary signal will be constructed directly adjacent to the existing bridge to maintain traffic during construction.
