BERNARDSTON- BRIDGE REHABILITATION, BR# B-10-012, ROUTES 5 & 10 (SOUTH STREET) OVER B&M RR
The new 3-span bridge will provide more clearance for the tops of the trains passing underneath. Both new piers will be built further back than the existing piers to provide more clearance for the sides of trains. The new bridge will have two 12-foot travel lanes, two 11-foot shoulders, and two 6.5-foot sidewalks.
