Project Description:
MELROSE- WAKEFIELD- ROADWAY REHABILITATION & SIGNAL UPGRADE, MAIN STREET & GREEN STREET
The project will address existing and projected roadway and traffic safety and operational deficiencies along Main Street and Green Street in Melrose. The project covers the portion of Main Street between the Wakefield Town Line and Short Street. The project will also include limited sections of Green Street. In addition to roadway and sidewalk reconstruction, the project includes a complete traffic control upgrade at three intersections. The three locations include Main Street at Franklin Street and Lynn Fells Parkway, as well as the intersection of Green Street and Lynn Fells Parkway.
