Project Description:
EVERETT- ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION INCLUDING SIGNALS, ROUTE 99 (BROADWAY) FROM SWEETSER CIRCLE TO SECOND STREET
The work consists of reconstruction of approximately 1130 feet of Broadway (Route 99), beginning at approximately 300 feet southwest of Gladstone Street and ending 80 feet northeast of Second Street. The scope of work includes full depth reconstruction for the full width of existing pavement, and the removal of existing trolley tracks, ties, and concrete foundation located in the center of Broadway throughout the length of the project. The work also includes the reconstruction of the traffic signal system at the intersection of Broadway/Second Street/Corey Street and the coordination of the intersections of Broadway/Norwood Street/Chelsea Street and School Street/Second Street, including the replacement of the traffic signal controller at these intersections.
