Project Description:
WESTWOOD- BRIDGE REHABILITATIONS, BR# W-31-005 ROUTE I-95 (128) NB OVER MBTA & W-31-013 NB & SB ROUTE I-95 (128) OVER MBTA
The work to be performed for this project includes the phased demolition of the existing bridge superstructures and substructure elements, and the construction of two new bridges located on Route 128 /I-95 over the MBTA Franklin Commuter Rail Line in the Town of Westwood. The project also includes approach roadway work, permanent roadway widening, temporary relocation of roadway, groundwater control, bridge excavation, temporary support of existing utilities, utility relocation, and incidental work associated with the demolition and replacement of the bridge structure. Work will include the restoration of the site upon completion of the bridge.
