Project Description:
PEABODY- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT (PEDESTRIAN STRUCTURE), BR# P-03-011, NORTH CENTRAL STREET OVER MBTA AND B&M RAILROAD
This project is a complete demolition and removal of the existing pedestrian bridge. The new bridge superstructure will consist of Brimfield Historic trusses and a concrete deck slab. The bridge shall be closed to pedestrians during construction. Work also includes reconstruction of both pedestrian approaches, minor roadway reconstruction, installation of various types of highway pedestrian rail, and necessary incidental work.
