Project Description:
SHREWSBURY- SIGNAL UPDATE, ROUTE 9 AT QUINSIGAMOND AVENUE
The proposed improvements at the subject intersection are designed to increase capacity and improve safety. The roadway work consists of the partial reconstruction and widening of a portion of Route 9 on the south side, widening both sides of North Quinsigamond Avenue, widening west side of South Quinsigamond Avenue, construction of traffic signal system, including a new box span wire assembly and loop detectors, and the installation of signs, pavement markings and incidental work including the installation of guardrail and drainage.
