BELMONT- ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION ON A SECTION OF ROUTE 60 (PLEASANT STREET)
This reconstruction project involves full depth reconstruction of over 1.8 mile of roadway, reconstruction of existing sidewalks and construction of new sidewalks, guardrail, new drainage systems, replacement and upgrading of existing drainage systems, jacking of a drainage pipe under the MBTA commuter rail line, installation of a detention pond, construction of new and the reconstruction of existing fieldstone walls, removal of existing trees and the planting of new street trees, reconstruction of three signalized intersections, installation of traffic signs and pavement markings, and other necessary incidental work.
