WEST BROOKFIELD- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, W-19-006, LONG HILL ROAD OVER CSX RR

The purpose of this project is to replace the Long Hill Road Bridge over the CSX Railroad on the same alignment with an increased vertical clearance over the railroad. The existing bridge deck and granite abutments will be removed and replaced with new concrete abutments and a new prefabricated concrete deck. The limit of roadway work is restricted to the area between the intersections of Long Hill Road with Front Street to the north and Freight House Road to the south. A temporary at-grade intersection across the railroad tracks will be utilized during construction.
