PLAINVILLE- RECONSTRUCTION, ROUTE 1A (SOUTH STREET) AND BACON STREET (ROUTE 106) INTERSECTION

The proposed project consists of the reconstruction of the intersection at South Street (Route 1A) and Bacon Street (Route 106). The proposed project increase the turning radii, replace the existing traffic signals, reconstruct and widen the roadway and provide new concrete sidewalks with ADA conforming wheelchair ramps, and granite curb. Also included are drainage improvements, traffic signing, pavement markings, landscaping and other incidental work.
