Project Description:
LEOMINSTER- SIGNAL & INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT CENTRAL STREET (ROUTE 12) AND WILLARD STREET
This project will enhance safety and improve efficiency by installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Central Street (Route 12) and Willard Street in Leominster. There will also be significant geometric improvements in order to provide for wider lanes and to address the extremely poor sight distance on Willard Street westbound. Land takings are anticipated, including the taking of one residence. This work also includes the installation of new signs and pavement markings.
