LANESBOROUGH- RECONSTRUCTION ON ROUTE US 7 & STATE ROUTE 8 CONNECTOR ROAD

The proposed project consists of improvements to the Route 7/Route 8 Connector Road (formerly Berkshire Mall Drive), from the vicinity of the intersection with Route 7 to the vicinity of the intersection with Route 8. The total project is approximately 2.0 miles long. The work includes excavation, full-depth roadway pavement construction, full-depth roadway reclamation, roadway widening, cold planning and resurfacing, geometric improvements, modification of traffic signals, granite curbing & edging and asphalt curb & berms installation, improvements to the drainage, landscaping, wetland alteration, guardrail installation, milling and resurfacing bridge pavement and replacing existing bridge joints, construction of a cement concrete retaining wall, signing, pavement marking and provision of safety controls and signing for construction operations.
