Project Description:
ALFORD- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, BR# A-06-002 EAST ROAD OVER ALFORD BROOK
The work includes, the removal of the existing bridge superstructure, partial removal of the existing abutments and wingwalls, construction of new abutments, wingwalls and a new superstructure in a similar alignment. Also included is the reconstruction of approximately 130 meters of East Road, including roadway excavation, profile and minor alignment modifications, roadway, bituminous concrete paving, installation of guard rail and other incidental items. One lane of two-way traffic shall remain open at all times through the project area.
