FALL RIVER- RECONSTRUCTION OF MERIDIAN STREET, FROM WILSON ROAD TO RUTH STREET (3.3 KM)

The project consists of the reconstruction of Meridian Street from north of Hannah Street to Wilson Road (near the North End Elementary School), for a distance of approximately 1.86 miles along the existing alignment. The project includes pavement reclamation and full depth widening and sidewalk and wheelchair ramp installation on the westerly side of Meridian Street and for a limited portion of the project at the northerly end. The project also includes associated resetting and installation of curbing, minor drainage improvements, signs and pavement markings, and utility pole relocations.
