Project Description:
BRIMFIELD- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, B-24-006, ST ROUTE 19 (WALES ROAD) OVER MILL BROOK INCLUDING REPAIR OF ABUTMENT
The proposed project will replace the superstructure of the bridge carrying Route 19 (Wale Road) over the Mill Brook. The new superstructure will consist of precast spread box beams with a reinforced concrete deck and bituminous wearing surface. The new structure will span behind a portion of the existing abutments to be retained for scour countermeasures. Two stages of construction will maintain traffic across the bridge.
