Project Description:
LINCOLN- UNDERPASS CONSTRUCTION, BR# L-12-004 BICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN PATH UNDER HANSCOM DRIVE
The purpose of this project is to construct a bicycle/pedestrian underpass within the Minute Man National Park as part of the Park’s 5.5 mile long Battle Road Trail. The Trail will provide for safe pedestrian/bicycle access to the Park’s 800 acre Battle Road Unit. The underpass will provide a safe crossing of Hanscom Drive at Route 2A, where currently, an at-grade crossing exists. The tunnel is approximately 140 feet long.
