CHARLEMONT- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, BR# C-05-049 BURRINGTON ROAD OVER HARTWELL BROOK

This project will result in the replacement of the structurally deficient Burrington Road Bridge over Hartwell Brook with a new bridge and associated improvements. The new bridge will be approximately 20.5 feet wide and 36 feet long and consist of precast concrete frame on piles with Texas-style safety rails. The grade of the bridge approaches will be improved along with new pavement on the roadway approaches, extending approximately 60 feet, along with new bridge guardrails. New bridge wing walls will be constructed and the slopes protected with riprap.
