SOUTHWICK- RAIL TRAIL CONSTRUCTION (OFF ROAD) FROM CONNECTICUT TO POINT GROVE ROAD (ALONG R.O.W. PENN CEN RR) INCLUDES S-22-003, S-22-008, S-22-017 & TUNNELS (PHASE I)
This is Phase I of a multiphase project. A separate design project (Phase II) is north of this site extending 3.5 miles to the Westfield City line. In addition to the trail work, the project includes a new pre-cast concrete culvert/tunnel at Point Grove Road, a new timber bridge at Cattle Path Crossing, and a restored stone arch bridge north of Congamond Road.
