Project Description:
WEBSTER- INTERSECTION & SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS ON ROUTE 12 (WEBSTER ROAD & E. MAIN ST) AT ROUTES 16 (GORE ROAD) & 193 (THOMPSON ROAD)
The proposed project includes horizontal alignment improvements of the north/south legs (Routes 12 and 193) of the intersection, the construction of exclusive left turn lanes on all four approaches, the construction of exclusive right turn lanes on two approaches, the construction of two westbound through lanes, and the installation of a new multiphase traffic signal. The proposed roadway width will consist of 11' travel lanes with 1.6' to 4' shoulders toaccommodate bicycles. Existing sidewalks disturbed by the proposed construction will be reestablished adjacent to the new edge of road.
