MATTAPOISETT- MULTI-USE PATH CONSTRUCTION (PENN CENTRAL RIGHT OF WAY) FROM FAIRHAVEN T.L. TO MATTAPOISETT NECK ROAD (PHASE 1A)

The work under the Phase 1A section of the Mattapoisett Bike Path project consists of constructing a two-way 10 foot wide multi-use path beginning at the Fairhaven/ Mattapoisett town line and extending approximately 3,900 feet east to Mattapoisett Neck Road. The work includes construction of a bituminous concrete multi-use surface with gravel foundation on the existing railroad bed, drainage improvements and utility relocations as necessary, application of pavement markings and signs, and incidental landscaping as necessary. Subsequent design phases will need follow to complete the Mattapoisett Bike Path.
