NORTHAMPTON- BIKE PATH CONSTRUCTION ON STATE STREET (DOWNTOWN LINK NORWOTTUCK RAIL TRAIL) INCLUDES N-19-005 & N-19-006
The project is for the construction of approximately 8,000 feet of bike trail. The trail follows the path of the former railroad tracks, starting at the existing bike trail near State Street and Stoddard Street and ending at New South Street. It also includes 3 new pedestrian/bike bridges over King, North, and Main Streets, the reconstruction of culverts and catch basins at the Pleasant Street crossing, and the reconstruction of parking lots near the King and Main Street crossings.
