Project Description:
HUDSON- MARLBOROUGH- CONSTRUCTION OF A SECTION OF THE ASSABET RAIL TRAIL (4 MILES)
This project consists of the construction of a 12 foot wide paved bicycle trail along the alignment of an abandoned railroad in the towns of Hudson and Marlborough. This work also includes the installation of an bikeway underpass at the Route 85 connector in Hudson, rehabilitation of an existing trestle bridge over the Assabet River, new cement concrete sidewalks at roadway intersections, traffic signal improvements, drainage system improvements and all associated bikeway appurtenances.
