TYRINGHAM- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, BR# T-10-004 BREAKNECK ROAD OVER HOP BROOK
This project will result in the replacement of the locally owned and structurally deficient Breakneck Road Bridge over Hop Brook in the Town of Tyringham, Massachusetts. The work includes but is not limited to: demolition of the existing bridge and replacement with a new, twin-box culvert. Other work includes: reconstruction of the roadways approaching the bridge, drainage, pavement markings, seed and loam, erosion controls, and other incidental work items. The work will require closing the bridge for about one year with traffic being detoured to nearby streets.
