PEPPERELL- BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION, P-06-004, GROTON STREET OVER THE NASHUA RIVER

This project entails the replacement of the existing Groton Street covered wooden bridge over the Nashua River. The three span replacement structure will be a timber truss covered center span with two traditional steel/concrete approach spans. There will be minor improvements made to the bridge roadway approaches. A temporary bridge will be erected to maintain pedestrian access and utility services during construction. Vehicular traffic will be detoured during construction.
