MENDON- ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION AT THE INTERSECTION OF PROVIDENCE STREET AND HARTFORD AVENUE

This project will result in the reconstruction of the intersection at Providence Street and Hartford Avenue, from 80-meters south to 90-meters north of the intersection on Providence Street, and extending easterly 150-meters on Hartford Avenue. Under this project, the intersection will be reconfigured to a “tee” type intersection to improve intersection geometrics for enhanced visibility, turning movements, and public safety. The work will include full depth reconstruction, widening of the roadway to include bicycle accommodations, traffic signs, pavement markings, utility relocations, drainage modifications, and landscaping.
