Project Description:
HOPEDALE- MENDON- SIGNAL & INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS @ ROUTE 140 & HARTFORD AVENUE
The project will enhance safety and improve efficiency by installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Route 140 and Hartford Avenue on the Hopedale-Mendon Town line. Hartford Avenue will be widened from its present 2 lanes to 4 lanes to reduce the existing delays at this intersection. This project will include the installation of crosswalks with wheelchair ramps and pushbutton pedestrian signals, as well as improved signs, drainage and pavement markings.
