Project Description:
BRIDGEWATER- MIDDLEBOROUGH- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, B-23-003=M-18-004, ROUTE 18 (BEDFORD STREET) OVER THE TAUNTON RIVER
The work under this project consists of replacing the Route 18 (Bedford Street) Bridge over the Taunton River. The new bridge will be a two span structure consisting of steel beams with a concrete deck and a sidewalk on the west side of the structure. The work will also include full depth roadway reconstruction along the approaches to the bridge. The bridge will be built in stages and one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained throughout the duration of construction.
