Project Description:
PLYMOUTH- INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS @ ROUTE 3A, MANOMET POINT ROAD, STRAND AVENUE
This project will improve the safety and the efficiency of the traffic flow by installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Route 3A at Manomet Point Road and Strand Avenue in Plymouth. The new signals will include push-button activated pedestrian signals, crosswalks and wheelchair ramps. There will be some minor widening at the intersection to accommodate exclusive turning lanes and Strand Avenue will be realigned to improve the geometry. Driveways at this intersection may also be modified to improve traffic safety.
