LEOMINSTER- BRIDGE REHABILITATION, BR# L-08-026 MERRIAM AVENUE OVER ROUTE 2
This project consists of demolition of the existing bridge deck carrying Merriam Avenue over Route 2 and the construction of a new bridge deck. Repairs and upgrades to the abutments and piers is also being done. Cold planing and resurfacing roadway approaches with new sidewalks is also included in this work. A temporary traffic signal allows for alternating traffic across the bridge while it is under construction.
