ATHOL- ORANGE- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, A-15-030=O-03-020, ROUTE 2 OVER LAKE ROHUNTA

The work includes the demolition and disposal of the existing bridge, and the construction of a new 53 foot single span bridge with similar span length as the existing. The work includes the modification of the existing substructure, and construction of the proposed superstructure, including the steel bridge railing, approach slab, highway guardrail transition, roadway approaches, and all related work. The work includes, but is not limited to, clearing, excavation, borrow, grading, highway guard, pavement markings, roadway pavement, drainage system, roadway embankment, riprap, and permanent and temporary traffic signs and traffic management devices. The bridge will be constructed in stages and traffic will be maintained on Route 2 during construction.
