Project Description:
DIGHTON- TAUNTON- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, D-08-013=T-01-025, OLD SOMERSET AVENUE OVER THE THREE MILE RIVER
The work under this project consists of replacing the town-owned and structurally-deficient Old Somerset Avenue bridge over the Three Mile River with a new bridge. The existing bridge will be removed and replaced with a pre-cast concrete arch bridge. The bridge roadway approaches will be reconstructed or cold-planed along with new guardrail, roadway drainage, and utility line relocation. The bridge will be closed during construction and traffic detoured.
