Project Description:
MILFORD- UPPER CHARLES TRAIL CONSTRUCTION (TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT PROJECT - PHASE I)
Phase 1 of Milford's segment of the proposed Upper Charles Trail (a 27-mile paved bike trail connecting the towns of Framingham, Sherborn, Holliston, Milford, Hopkinton, and Ashland) is approximately 3 miles long. It begins at two places, the Commuter Parking Lot on Main Street and the intersection of the existing railbed and Main Street. After these two legs of the trail meet, it runs northerly along the railbed over town land and under I-495 where it ends at Deer Street just north of Route I-495.
