BRIMFIELD- PALMER- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, B-24-012=P-01-011, KING'S BRIDGE OVER QUABOAG RIVER

This is a bridge replacement project including substructure and superstructure. The scope calls for the widening of the structure to provide an 26.2 foot roadway. The overall extent of the widening is 6.2 feet. No sidewalk is planned. The roadway profile will closely match the existing, as will the hydraulic opening. The roadway widening and slope stabilization can be accomplished by adding to the embankment and by the placing of slope stabilization materials. The superstructure design will incorporate provisions for future utilities.
