Project Description:
FRAMINGHAM- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, F-07-015, WINTER STREET OVER MBTA, AMTRAK & CSX RAILROAD
The proposed project will replace the existing structurally deficient, functionally obsolete bridge carrying Winter Street over the MBTA, Amtrak and CSX railroads.. The proposed abutments will be located behind the existing abutments to increase the number of railroad tracks beneath the bridge. If feasible, the proposed bridge will be widened to accommodate an additional turning lane in each direction.
