Project Description:
PRINCETON- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, P-16-014, ROUTE 62 (HUBBARDSTON ROAD) OVER WARE RIVER
The work under this project consists of the replacement of the Route 62 (Hubbardston Road) Bridge over the Ware River (East Branch). The work will include complete replacement of the deck structure and construction of new abutments behind the existing abutments. The new bridge will be a single-span structure consisting of a concrete deck supported by precast concrete deck beams. The work will also include full-depth roadway reconstruction along the approaches to the bridge for a total length of approximately 520 feet. A temporary bridge will be constructed adjacent to the existing bridge on the south side. The temporary bridge will provide one lane of traffic controlled by a traffic signal throughout the duration of construction.
