Project Description:
WEST SPRINGFIELD- CONNECTICUT RIVERWALK & BIKEWAY EXTENSION, FROM ELM STREET TO ASHLEY AVENUE
The project consists of a 1.5± mile segment of multi-use pedestrian and bike path along the base of the Connecticut River flood control dike in West Springfield. The multi-use bike path is a ten-foot wide paved trail. Two paved parking areas will provide direct access to the bike path. Other project amenities include recreational and picnic facilities, historical, directional and informational signage and various landscaping improvements at parking areas.
