DISTRICT 5- RUMBLE STRIP APPLICATION ALONG ROADWAY EDGE LINES (4 CONTRACTS)
The purpose of this project is to install milled rumble strips along the edgeline of various freeways in District 5. The milled rumble strips give a warning to motorists who drift out of the travel lane into the breakdown lane or median shoulder and are an integral part of MassHighway's campaign to reduce run-off-road accidents.
